You may know us by one of a few names; Grenada Promotions, Promobasics, Pen Collection, Promo Stress Shapes and if you are a little hip, maybe even Grepro.
Grenada Promotions is a locally owned and operated promotional company that has been around since 1998. Starting as a one man home operation (Grenada Business Services), we evolved into dedicated promotional product business in 2000. In 2004, the business eventually grew too large to be contained in just one room and required more office space and storage. Michael, the owner and manager of Grenada Promotions, decided it was time to move. After a big move into our Cardiff offices, we acquired some new staff members.
Michael started as a banker with big dreams of owning his own business and being his own boss. His time at the bank taught him invaluable lessons about customer service and the importance of effective business management and promotions. Michael recognised that there was a need for innovative and good quality business advisers and made the move to promotional products to fulfil this need.
After so many years in the business (21 years to be exact!), Michael says one of the most heart warming aspects of the job is the number of loyal customers who have been with us for more than a decade.
Jack first joined the team in October, 2005. He had just moved on from his job as the National Retail Manager for BONDS and was looking for a change. Grenada Promotions offered him the chance to build an online catalogue of the top promotional products to be displayed with their all inclusive prices. This project came to life and PromoBasics was born. Since its inception, a few other online catalogues have been developed including Pen Collection and Promo Stress Shapes. Jack looks after our Google ranking, new enquiries and keeping us up to date on all things that happen in the promotional world. These days, he has a loyal customer base because of his deep voice and efficient manner.
Soon after that, Grenada gained another staff member. Sarah joined our team in April, 2006 while she was still at school. She started as an office assistant and has worked her way through the ranks doing a multitude of jobs that include painting walls, accounts, BBQing up a storm and writing our communications to the outside world. Sarah looked after our blogs, videos, newsletters, provided the cool factor and anything else she could get her hands on.
Grenada Promotions now boasts a dynamic team and one of the most extensive showrooms in Australia (possibly the universe). We relish in the opportunity to get to know all of our customers so we can effectively help you promote your business.
